Our instructional lessons are perfect for all skill levels whether you are just looking to try out fly fishing for the first time or seeking to improve your casting. 

 

  These instructional lessons can be customized to fit your needs depending on what you would like to learn or practice. We can teach everything from intro to fly fishing and casting to more advanced techniques like euro nymphing and streamer fishing. This is a great option for those that are looking to introduce fly fishing to their children, spouses, friends, and family or to break off the rust if you have not fly fished in a while.

We offer two options for fly fishing lessons:

 

Fly Fishing Lesson Option 1

  This is a 2 hour casting and 101 lesson where we'll meet at a park here in Spokane (note- there is no water or actual fish involved). We'll cover information on fly fishing gear and equipment, how to cast a fly rod, how to select and tie flies on, tips on hooking into and fighting fish, and how to clean and look after gear. A Washington state fishing license is not required for this lesson.

Fly Fishing Lesson Option 2

  This is also a 2 hour lesson where we cover everything in Option 1. But this lesson takes place at a nearby pond that has bluegill and bass which provides the chance to hook into fish. A Washington state fishing license is required for this lesson (anglers 14 years and younger do not need a fishing license).
