Fly Fishing Lessons

Want to give fly fishing a try? Looking to improve your casting, knot tying, and techniques? These fly fishing instructional lessons that can be tailored to fit your needs and goals.

  Our instructional lesson is perfect for all skill levels whether you are just looking to try out fly fishing for the first time or seeking to improve your casting. 

 

  The instructional lesson can be customized to fit your needs depending on what you would like to learn or practice. We can teach everything from intro to fly fishing and casting to more advanced techniques like how to make a double haul cast. This is a great option for those that are looking to introduce fly fishing to their children, spouses, friends, and family or to break off the rust if you have not fly fished in a while.

 

  This is a 2 hour lesson where where we'll meet at a park here in Spokane (note- there is no water or actual fish involved). We'll cover information on fly fishing gear and equipment, how to cast a fly rod, how to select and tie flies on, tips on hooking into and fighting fish, and how to clean and look after gear. A Washington state fishing license is not required for this lesson.
 

  Also, when you do an instructional lesson you'll receive 15% off a guided float trip on the Spokane River (to be used during the same calendar year).

Lesson Cost

  • 2 hours of instruction is $100* (total) for 1-4 anglers.

  • *Sales tax not included.

What Is Included

  • Fly rods, reels, lines.

  • Selection of flies for the day.

  • Guide gratuity.

  • Note- A fishing license is not required for this lesson.
